Thad McCotter's Team Takes Aim at Barack Obama on Economy
Michigan Congressman Thad McCotter has not gotten much notice in his bid for the Republican presidential nomination so far. That could change now that the McCotter campaign is turning up the heat on President Barack Obama.
In an e-mail sent out late Monday, the McCotter camp ripped into Obama arguing the president has proven unable or unwilling to understand the central problem in our economy: that it is the marketplace, not the government, that creates good, well-paying jobs for Main Street.
Only when he is laboring on his one-term presidential memoirs, will we free people be able to end this period of debt-deflation and stagnation by fundamentally restructuring big government into citizen government and recapitalizing of the failed Wall Street bailout banks, continued the McCotter campaign.
