Sunshine State News Heads to Jacksonville for Energy Summit

Sunshine State News will be heading to Jacksonville for the Florida Energy Summit Oct. 14-16.

The summit will be hosted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the JAX Chamber.

The summit is being held in Jacksonville this year to "showcase how Northeast Florida is leveraging America's evolving energy sector to grow an economy" for present-day residents as well as future residents.

Christopher Guith of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will keynote the summit Thursday.

The energy summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
