Steve Southerland Focuses on Security, Border Control in New Ad

With three weeks to go in a contentious election against Democrat Gwen Graham, U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Fla., released a TV ad on Monday playing up his national security credentials and tying his opponent to President Barack Obama and U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

America faces serious challenges in an increasingly uncertain world, said Southerland on Monday. Thats why I voted to end the Beltway bickering and secure our borders now. And its why I voted to give the president the tools necessary to defeat ISIS in the Middle East. Now more than ever, we need leaders who are willing to put politics aside and work together to make the world a safer place for our children and grandchildren. Theres too much at stake to do anything less.
