State Energy Summit to be Held in Orlando in October
On Thursday, state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam said that the Florida Energy Summit, which will replace the Farm to Fuel event, will be held in October in Orlando.
The Florida Energy Summit will advance the expansion of the production of renewable energy in Florida by bringing together leaders in energy development, agriculture production, government, academic research, technology and finance, said Putnam, who was in Cocoa on Thursday touring the state Solar Energy Center. By taking a more comprehensive look at prospective energy resources, we will gain a better understanding of Floridas energy potential to not only capture, but also capitalize on, the rich resources available.
The event will run from Oct. 26-28.
