Sixth Place in Florida? Is Sarah Palin Done?

Is Sarah Palin done?

Over at Salon, Steve Kornacki argues that national conservative pundits have turned against her and this is turning off Republican voters from backing her for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012.

While more than a few writers and pundits have predicted Palins political demise, Kornacki may have a point. Ron Sachs Communications and Mason-Dixon released a poll earlier on Monday that found Palin in sixth place in the Republican pack with 5 percent. Palin is very well-known nationally and so are most of the other candidates ahead of her with one exception -- former Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota. Palins support seems to have plummeted across the nation and in the Sunshine State. It will be hard for her to get a second wind since most voters know who she is, and apparently are increasingly turned off.
