SIMTEC's International HQ Moves from Wisconsin to Miramar

Om Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott announced SIMTEC will be moving its international headquarters from Madison, Wis., to Miramar.

We are proud to welcome SIMTECs international headquarters to Florida from Wisconsin. Floridas rich talent pool, our strong college and university system and a fantastic transportation system that gives them easy access to the worlds markets were cited among the reasons for their decision, Scott said. As we remove taxes on business, eliminate the sales tax on manufacturing machinery and equipment and cut over 2,500 burdensome regulations, more and more companies like SIMTEC are realizing that Florida has the perfect climate for business.

SIMTEC plans to invest $3.5 million in its new location and hire 40 new employees.
