The Sun-Sentinel is reporting thatRich, who cant run for her South Florida Senate seat this year due to term limits, is formulating a strategic and financial plan for her candidacy, plans a tour of the state to listen to people's concerns, and plans an announcement before the November presidential election.

Other names that have popped up for the Democrats include former Republican Governor Charlie Crist, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, unsuccessful 2010 gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink, and state Democratic Party Chairman Rod Smith."

Rich's announcement isn't new. Rich has been thinking about running for the top statewide office since at least last September.
