Senate Candidate David Jolly Focuses on Small Business Issues
The Main Street Growth & Opportunity Coalition’s Florida chapter held a round table with U.S. Rep. David Jolly, R-Fla., focusing on small business issues on Thursday. Jolly is running for the Republican nomination to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., in 2016.
“Small businesses are the economic engine of the American economy, but in order for our small businesses to continue to thrive and create jobs, we need to implement policies that drive growth, not hinder it,” Jolly said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to meet with some of the hardworking business owners and community leaders in the Tampa Bay-area to listen and learn about their thoughts on how Congress could improve the business climate. I remain committed to passing legislation that supports small business owners so they can expand, create jobs and continue to lead our economy.”
