Scott Wagers Key Lime Pie on Gators in Gator Bowl

Gov. Rick Scott is once again putting up a key lime pie in support of a Florida team.

Scott has announced, via Twitter, that he has bet Ohio Gov. John Kasich a pie on UF, which is playing The Ohio State University Jan. 2, 2012, in the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl game at EverBank Field in Jacksonville.

Kasich will have to send Scott some Columbus, Ohio-based Cheryls cookies if the Gators win.

"Needless to say, Im looking forward to the cookies," Scott posted on Facebook.

Scott lost a key lime pie to Texas Gov. Rick Perry when the Miami Heat fell to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals this past spring.

In September, he had to send a key lime pie to Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin after the Florida Seminoles were defeated in football by the then-No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners.

However, the Gators have come through in the past for Scott, as he picked up some hickory smoked Bentons bacon from Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam after UF defeated the Tennessee Volunteers this past September in football.
