Scott to Release Proposed 2012-13 Budget on Dec. 7

Gov. Rick Scott will release his proposed budget for 2012-13 on Dec. 7, the day before he heads an Enterprise Florida trade mission to Israel.

No details were available other than the release date, according to the governor's office.

In February, prior to the 2011 legislative session, Scott rolled out his budget in Eustis, a rural community 190 miles from the state Capitol.

On Monday, in an interview with the Daytona Beach News Journal editorial board, Scott said "I'm not going to raise taxes."
