Scott: Florida Needs to be 'Shipping Capital' of America's East Coast

Highlighting the need to expand Floridas port system, Gov. Rick Scott said Florida should be the shipping capital of the East Coast," at the opening of the Florida Chamber of Commerces International Days, Tuesday.

The two-day event being held at Florida State Universitys Conference Center in Tallahassee will feature speeches on Wednesday by Gabriel Silva, Colombia's ambassador to the United States, and Alberto Aleman Zubieta, administrator of the Panama Canal Authority.
