Scott Appoints Three to National Conference on Uniform State Laws
Gov. Rick Scott named three to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws on Tuesday, according to a release from the governor's office:
Donald J. Weidner, 66, of Tallahassee, is dean of the Florida State University College of Law. He succeeds Nicholas W. Romanello and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 29, 2011, and ending June 5, 2015.
Randolph Braccialarghe, 63, of Plantation, is a professor of law at Nova Southeastern Universitys Shepard Broad Law Center. He succeeds Clinton R. Losego and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 29, 2011, and ending June 5, 2015.
Louis T.M. Conti, 62, of Tampa, is a partner with Holland and Knight LLP. He succeeds Scott L. Baena and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 29, 2011, and ending June 5, 2015.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
