Scott Adviser Joins Consulting Firm
Jon Bussey, who headed Gov. Rick Scott's Florida Lottery transition team, is joining Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm National Strategies LLC (NSI) as the vice president of its Florida practice.
Bussey was also the chief of staff for the Department of Lottery and the Department of Transportation under former Gov. Charlie Crist, and served under former Gov. Jeb Bush in the Department of Community Affairs.
"We are pleased to have Jon on the NSI team, as he brings a wealth of experience from a variety of areas such as transportation, gaming, health care and business. Jon's background in Florida government will be a great addition to NSI's procurement, public affairs and government relations services in Florida and nationally," said Tim Onoff, president of NSI.
