Sarah Palin to Keynote CPAC Meeting

While she may not be running for president, former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska is staying in the spotlight even as the various Republican presidential hopefuls continue to battle for the GOP presidential nomination.

On Thursday, the iconic American Conservative Union announced that Palin will offer a keynote address at the Conservative Political Action Conference event that will be held in Washington, D.C., from Feb. 9-11.

Few national conservative leaders in America today energize and inspire our grass-roots activists like Governor Sarah Palin. Her strong record of leadership, championing of our shared principles and magnetic personality have made Sarah Palin a hero to millions of conservatives across the country, said Al Cardenas, the chairman of the ACU, in a statement on Thursday. As we ready for the critical 2012 election, Im honored to welcome Governor Palin to the Conservative Political Action Conference for the first time ever.
