Sandy Adams Takes Aim at Suzanne Kosmas for Not Helping to Extend Bush Tax Cuts
Rep. Sandy Adams of Oviedo, the Republican candidate challenging U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas in November, took aim at congressional Democrats -- including Kosmas -- voting to adjourn without extending tax cuts backed by George W. Bush in his first term.
Once again Suzanne Kosmas showed that her tax-and-spend liberal policies are completely out of touch with the American people, said Adams. When she was given the chance to stand up for taxpayers and vote to keep Congress in session so that they could prevent a nearly $4 trillion tax hike, Suzanne cast the deciding vote to skip town without taking action. Florida taxpayers need to know that they wont be faced with thousands of dollars in new taxes pushed by the Pelosi-Kosmas Congress and President Obamas White House. These tax hikes will cost Florida thousands of jobs, raise taxes thousands of dollars on the average family, and slow economic growth. The bottom line is that Florida taxpayers cant afford another two years of Suzanne Kosmas, and instead need a new Congress that will support common-sense policies to help the private sector create jobs and grow the economy.
