Rubio Team Links Charlie Crist to Obama on Oil Spill

Likely Republican U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubios campaign team continues to attack Gov. Charlie Crist for calling a special session of the Legislature to forward a proposed constitutional amendment to Florida voters banning oil drilling in state waters.

The Obama-Crist response to the Gulf oil spill has failed Florida, and Crists call for a special session to ban something thats already illegal in our state wont help speed up the claims process that is holding up money Floridians desperately need, said Alex Burgos, a spokesman for the Rubio camp. Floridians need real leadership and a governor who will challenge Washington to lead, not applaud President Obama for being up to speed.
