Rubio Camp: "I want my M-TV"

The U.S. Senate campaign takes to the airways this week with former House Speaker Marco Rubio launching his first TV ad.

Rubios camp emailed supporters with the subject line I want my M-TV, linking to the new ad that will begin airing on TV stations around the state Thursday.

In his ad, the Miami Republican paints a picture of two extremes, saying his childrens generation could be the most prosperous generation in Americas history if voters help stop the growth of the federal deficit, end stimulus spending and reform the tax code to spur job creation. But if we dont, Rubio says, my children and yours will become the first generation of Americans to inherit a country worse off than before.

He also takes a jab at Gov. Charlie Crist when saying, Americans need Republicans that will stand up to Barack Obama, not join him.

You can link to the video here.

Meanwhile, Crist is flying around the state for ceremonial signings of a bill that keeps the unemployment tax businesses have to pay low for another two years. Crist signed the official bill, HB 7033, this morning in Tallahassee.
