RPOF Welcomes Obama to Florida by Knocking Charlie Crist
With President Barack Obama coming to South Florida on Friday, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) looked to link him to former Gov. Charlie Crist. Despite spending most of his political career as a Republican, Crist is the favorite for the Democratic nomination to challenge Gov. Rick Scott in November.
Its ironic that President Obama is coming to Florida to talk about expanding opportunity when Obamacare makes it harder for small businesses to create jobs, said Lenny Curry, the chairman of the RPOF, on Wednesday. It shouldnt be a surprise Charlie Crist supports a president and a law that hurts Floridas job creators because he oversaw unemployment tripling in the Sunshine State and did nothing about it, choosing to attempt an escape to Washington, D.C., instead.
