RPOF Wants to Know Where South Florida Democrats Stand on Hillary Clinton's Email Problem

With former U.S. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, the favorite for the Democratic presidential nomination, headed to Broward College for an event on Friday, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) wants to know where two South Florida Democrats stand on the controversy over her use of a private server for confidential email she used at the State Department.

State Rep. Blaise Ingoglia, R-Spring Hill, the chairman of the RPOF, wanted answers from U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy and former Miami Dade Democratic Party Chairwoman Annette Taddeo on Clinton’s use of private servers. Murphy is running for the U.S. Senate in 2016 while Taddeo is running against U.S. Rep. Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla.

“As Hillary Clinton makes her way to South Florida to convince donors and voters that her negative headlines, FBI investigations, and unsuccessful record are not hurting her campaign, the silence from Democrat candidates Patrick Murphy and Annette Taddeo, both Clinton supporters, is unacceptable,” Ingoglia said on Thursday. “It is time for Murphy and Taddeo to end their silence on Hillary Clinton’s private email server scandal. South Florida voters deserve to know where they stand.”
