RPOF Launches Pre-emptive Strike at Florida Democrats

With Democrats heading to Orlando for the state partys convention, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) launched a new website -- www.FloridaDems.com -- on Thursday bashing the Florida Democratic Party and its leaders

RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry said his group would be ready to mix it up with the Florida Democrats in the days to come and threw a jab at former Gov. Charlie Crist, the former Republican expected to run for governor as a Democrat in 2014.

"The Florida Democratic Party is not entitled to its own facts," said Curry. "They will attempt to distort Rick Scott's successful record as governor and whitewash Charlie Crist's record as a failed politician who tried to run away to Washington, D.C., when things got tough. We will set the record straight."
