RPOF Denounces John Morgan's 'Sexist' Comments Against Debbie Wasserman Schultz

The Republican Party of Florida went on the attack against big-time trial lawyer John Morgan for comments he made against U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., on Friday.

Earlier in the day, Wasserman Schultz expressed concerns over a constitutional amendment to legalize medical marijuana in Florida, saying the amendment was "written too broadly" and "stops short of ensuring strong regulatory oversight from state officials."

In response, Morgan went on the attack against Wasserman Schultz, and the insults got personal.

I know personally the most-powerful players in Washington, D.C., Morgan told the Miami Herald Friday. And I can tell you that Debbie Wasserman Schultz isnt just disliked, shes despised. Shes an irritant.

At one point, Morgan said Wasserman Schultz should just "become a bridesmaid for Pam Bondi's next wedding."

The comments didn't go unnoticed by the RPOF, who denounced Morgan's remarks as sexist.

"First, Charlie Crist dismisses lifelong Democrat Nan Rich. Then, his most ardent supporter hurls disgusting and grossly sexist insults at Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz," said RPOF chair Leslie Dougher. "Not only are Charlies policies bad for women, now he and his cronies are openly insulting them.
