RPOF Demands Apology after Miami NBC Calls it 'Reprehensive Party'

The Republican Party of Florida is demanding an on-air apology from a Miami news station after the station referred to the RPOF as the "Reprehensive Party of Florida."

The error aired during a segment highlighting a recent RPOF TV ad attacking former Gov. Charlie Crist for "running away" from Florida when its economy tanked.

"This blatant disregard for journalist ethics and impartiality is a complete abdication of your station's professional duty to truth at best and slander at worst," wrote RPOF Chair Lenny Curry to the station's president and vice president. "We are currently reviewing our legal options against your station, but at minimum we demand an on-air apology for violating journalist ethics and public discipline for any employees responsible for the creation of this graphic."
