RPOF: '8 Things That Lasted Longer Than Allie Braswell's CFO Campaign'

The Republican Party of Florida has wasted no time drawing attention to former chief financial officer candidate Allie Braswell's short-lived campaign. The latest jab at Braswell is called "8 Things That Lasted Longer Than Allie Braswell's CFO Campaign" and highlights, through animated GIF form, all the pop culture and political stories that had longer lives than the Orlando Democrat's bid for CFO.

Among them was Kim Kardashian's highly publicized marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries, which lasted for 72 days. Lindsay Lohan's jail time also lasted longer than Braswell's campaign.

The RPOF also took a shot at former governor Charlie Crist, who had a short stint as an independent before becoming a Democrat.

Braswell came under fire after the Florida Times Union discovered he had declared bankruptcy three times since the mid-1990s. He officially withdrew from the race on Monday.
