With all eyes on Iowa, with a debate between the Republican presidential candidates and the straw poll in Ames on Saturday, pundits are starting to make picks about who will prevail.
Craig Robinson over at the Iowa Republican made his picks and he has U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas winning the event in Ames. Robinson had two candidates from Minnesota -- U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann and former Gov. Tim Pawlenty -- winning the silver and the bronze followed by former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania. Robinson had Herman Cain in fifth, Mitt Romney in sixth and Newt Gingrich in eighth. He had Thad McCotter and Jon Huntsman, who has not focused on the event, at the bottom of the poll.
