Ron Paul Turns it Up in New Hampshire
U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas received some heat for heading home to the Lone Star State in the last weekend before the Iowa caucus. While Paul took third, he lost out to Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum.
This time, Paul shows no signs of backing off before the contest. Paul, who stands in second in the polls behind Romney in New Hampshire, is not planning to take any time off before the primary. Starting off in Nashua on Friday afternoon, Paul has more than a dozen events scheduled across the Granite State in the next few days and the only gap in his schedule in Saturday -- when, it can be assumed, he will be preparing for the crucial debate that night.
Paul also picked up three newspaper endorsements -- those of the Littleton Courier, Berlin Reporter and Coos County Democrat -- in the Granite State.
