Ron Paul Group Pushes Federal Reserve Audit and Ben Bernanke Replacement
The Campaign for Liberty, a group chaired by former Congressman Ron Paul, is going all out to audit the Federal Reserve. Paul launched the Audit the Fed bill and, while he is no longer serving in Congress, more than 150 congressmen are currently sponsoring the legislation.
The ultimate fate of our ongoing battle to audit and then end the Federal Reserve could well be decided in the next 11 days, wrote John Tate, the president of the Campaign for Liberty, to supporters on Monday. More Americans than ever understand the destructive influence the Federal Reserve has on our economy. But that hasnt stopped the Federal Reserves madness. Not long ago, news broke that Ben Bernanke pumped more than 1 trillion in U.S. taxpayer dollars to his cronies in overseas banks -- without a shred of oversight or accountability. Now, with nearly $17 trillion in national debt, Congresss out-of-control spending, and the Fed's ongoing $85 billion per month Federal Reserve economic stimulus printing spree, every shred of American wealth is threatened.
Tate also insisted the battle against the Fed would continue no matter what happens with the bill. Ben Bernankes bankster pals, who line their pockets looting American wealth, would love nothing more than to sweep the Audit the Fed issue under the rug, Tate wrote. But they know Fed Chairman Ben Bernankes term is up in January. Rumors are, after getting more no votes than any Fed chairman in history during his last confirmation, Bernanke will not seek another term. That means President Obama will have to appoint another nominee to chair the Fed. And the last thing the statists want to come up during the Senate confirmation process is the Audit the Fed issue.
