Ron Paul Calls for More Home Schooling in New Book
Former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, well-known across the nation for his three presidential bids, is tackling education in his new book The School Revolution: A New Answer for Our Broken Education System. The book was published on Tuesday. Late on Tuesday, Paul sent out an email to supporters taking aim at public schools, which can't seem to teach reading, writing, or arithmetic, but have plenty of time for fake history, Keynesian economics, war lies, and state worship.
Paul insisted there are ideas to repair education which he focused on in the book. One solution is for parents to take back their rights, and teach their children as they see fit, Paul wrote. Millions of parents are home-schooling now, and the more the better. Even those of us who have grown children benefit from a society with parent-educated kids. So does the cause of freedom. And if it bothers the drones in the Department of Education and the teachers' union, we know were on the right track. My book not only makes the argument for seceding from the government schools, it shows parents how to do it.
Paul will be on center stage on Friday when he speaks at the Liberty Political Action Conference in Virginia backed by the Campaign for Liberty which the former congressman chairs.
