Ron Paul: 'Audit the Fed' Bill Co-Sponsored by House Majority

On Wednesday, the Campaign for Liberty, chaired by former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, announced that a majority of members of the U.S. House -- 218 -- are co-sponsoring the Audit the Fed bill for the third consecutive Congress. Paul had been a longtime advocate of auding the Federal Reserve during his time in Congress and his three bids for the presidency. U.S. Rep. Paul Broun, R-Ga., is the chief sponsor of the bill since Paul left Congress in 2012.

I am pleased to see such wide support for Audit the Fed and I hope the House moves quickly to pass this important piece of legislation, said Paul on Wednesday.
