Ron DeSantis Continues the Fight Against Obamacare

Count U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., among the supporters of U.S. Sen. David Vitters, R-Fla., attempts to ensure congressmen and senators dont get subsidies from President Barack Obamas federal health-care law. DeSantis is the House sponsor of Vitters bill which the Louisiana senator crafted as an amendment to an energy efficiency bill pending in the Senate.

The American people are tired of members of Congress not living under the terms of the laws that they pass, DeSantis said on Wednesday. Senators should be forced to go on record about the legality of Obamacare subsidies for members of Congress. Sen. Vitter has continued to be an outspoken opponent of these illicit subsidies and I applaud his efforts to make Congress abide by the laws that they pass.
