RNC, RPOF Hold More than 100 Presidential Debate Watch Events in Florida

On Thursday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) announced there had been more than 100 events across the Sunshine State on Wednesday night to watch the GOP presidential debate with almost 1,000 attendees. 

“The Republican Party’s enthusiasm and community organizing leading into 2016 was evident yesterday as Florida voters came together to watch the presidential debate,” the RNC and RPOF said in a joint statement released on Thursday. “With over 100 grassroots debate watch parties across the Sunshine State our party is organizing early on and embedding ourselves in the community. And while the Florida Democrats are struggling to prepare for next year’s election, our watch parties serve to register voters, unite the grassroots, and organize volunteers for a successful election.”
