Rick Scott's Team Hits Bill McCollum for Connections to Jim Greer

With disgraced former Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer in the news for demanding a refund of his donation to Gov. Charlie Crists campaign for the U.S. Senate election, Rick Scotts team is using the opportunity to take a shot at Republican gubernatorial primary rival Attorney General Bill McCollum for his ties to Greer.

Bill McCollum may talk a good game about transparency but his record is woeful, said Jennifer Baker, a spokeswoman for Scott, on Monday.On the day he talks up his commitment to transparency, his disgraced former ally, Jim Greer, popped up to remind us that Bill McCollum tried to cover up money laundering at RPOF and said you cant negotiate and do deals with open government. Bill McCollums record on transparency is about as good as Greers.
