Rick Scott Uses NFIB Endorsement to Focus on Fiscal Conservatism

Rick Scott, the Republican gubernatorial candidate, received the backing of the Florida chapter of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) on Friday at an event in Orlando.

Scott used the endorsement from the group, which has around 10,000 members in the Sunshine State, to highlight his fiscal conservatism.

As someone who knows what it takes to build a business from scratch, and a believer in the power of small business to reignite our states economy, I am proud to receive the endorsement of the NFIB, said Scott. We need to bring NFIBs entrepreneurial spirit back to Tallahassee. I have a plan to provide a business approach to politics by keeping taxes low, limiting job-killing regulations and getting government out of the way of small businesses so they can do what they do best: create jobs.
