Rick Scott Urges Minnesota Businesses to Move to Florida

Gov. Rick Scott is turning his sites to Minnesota, looking to bring jobs to Florida.

On Thursday, Scott sent a letter to Minnesota business leaders arguing that Florida offers a better business climate than their state and encouraging them to move their operations to the Sunshine State. Scotts team also released a chart showing Florida has a better education system than Minnesota.

Minnesotas formula of more taxes and spending is not working, Scott insisted on Thursday. Florida has cut regulations and lowered taxes while paying down state debt. Not only is Florida a great place for businesses, but its also a great place to get an education, and we will continue to work to bring more jobs and opportunities to Florida families.
