Rick Scott Trumpets Growth of Online Job Ads

On Friday, Gov. Rick Scott highlighted the growth of online job openings in Florida over the last four and a half years. In April 2009, there were less than 152,200 online job openings in the Sunshine State. Last month, there were more than 271,100.

Despite Washingtons failure to announce jobs figures this week, Im proud to announce that Florida had more than 271,000 online job postings in September, Scott said on Friday. Florida job postings are up 78 percent from the previous year. Thats incredible news and is another great sign that Floridas private sector is continuing to grow jobs and opportunities for Florida families.
