Rick Scott Team Weighs in on CNN/Time Poll

The campaign team of Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott weighed in on a new poll from CNN/Time that had its candidate ahead of Democratic nominee state CFO Alex Sink.

Obviously as voters learn about the mismanagement Sink oversaw as CFO, her ballot support is beginning to collapse, said Joe Kildea, a spokesman for Scott.

The Scott team also named Gov. Bob Martinez their honorary campaign chairman on Wednesday. Former RPOF Tom Slade and current RNC Secretary Sharon Day, a possible candidate to replace Sen. John Thrasher of Jacksonville as RPOF chair, were named co-chairs of the Scott campaign. Republicans in Congress and the Legislature were named honorary co-chairs.
