Incoming Gov. Rick Scotts transition team announced on Tuesday that they were soliciting ideas on how to streamline state government at their website through Florida 2.0
The governor-elect is serious about getting the state to run more efficiently, for less money, while lessening the impact state government has on the lives of Floridians and businesses in the state, said Brian Burgess, a spokesman for Scott. As an outsider, Rick realizes that politicians and insiders dont have a monopoly on good ideas to improve Florida. He is eager for Floridians to share their ideas to make the state better and Florida 2.0 will allow the people to share their thoughts with the governor-elect.
