Before he had returned from Colombia as the head of a 200-strong trade and business development mission, Gov. Rick Scott was already planning a return to South America.
The next stop is Chile in May, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
"Chile has a highly sophisticated market, well-educated populace and enormous potential for Florida business," Manny Mencia, who runs Enterprise Florida's international business division, told the Sun-Sentinel.
Chile is Floridas sixth largest overseas trading partner, with $6.9 million in goods being exchanged between the Sunshine State and Pacific Coast nation.
Scott has already led Enterprise Florida missions to Panama, Canada, Brazil, Israel, Spain and the United Kingdom
