Gov. Rick Scott has ordered the flags outside the Palm Beach County Courthouse, West Palm Beach City Hall and the 4th District Court of Appeal Courthouse to be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday for former Judge John W. Dell.
Dell, 80, was appointed to the appeals court in the early 1980s by Gov. Bob Graham, serving as chief judge from 1993 to 1995, and retiring in 2001 when he reached the states mandatory retirement age, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
