
Rick Scott Orders Flags Flown at Half-Staff to Honor Victims of Paris Terror Attacks
On Sunday, Gov. Rick Scott ordered flags across Florida to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, Nov. 22 to honor the victims of Islamic terrorist attacks in Paris.
“Florida joins all Americans in mourning the more than 120 innocent people who lost their lives and the more than 350 people who were wounded in the terrorist attacks in and
around Paris, France on November 13, 2015,” Scott announced on Sunday. “In honor of all those affected by this massacre, I hereby direct the flags of the United States of America and the state of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the state of Florida beginning immediately until sunset on Sunday, November 22, 2015.”
