Rick Scott Names Two to Florida Poly University Board

Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Joseph L. Caruncho and Robert W. Stork to the Florida Polytechnic University board of trustees.

Caruncho, 54, of Miami, is CEO of Preferred Care Partners. Hes served on the Florida International Universitys board of trustees, Foundation board, College of Business Deans Council, and Center for Leadership Advisory Council.

Stork, 60, of Vero Beach, is the CEO of Communications International Inc. He serves on the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and the Florida Technology, Research, and Scholarship board.

Both appointments, which require Florida Senate confirmation, are through June 30, 2014.
