Rick Scott Names Three to 12th Judicial Nominating Commission
Gov. Rick Scott has named three -- Carly Lambert, Bonnie Lee Polk and William Robinson -- to the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.
Lambert, 31, of Parrish, has practiced with Price Hamilton Price Chartered since 2011. She succeeds W. Earl Varn and is appointed for a term beginning Sept. 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.
Polk, 48, of Sarasota, has practiced with Williams Parker Harrison Dietz and Getzen since 2000. Previously, she served as a child-support enforcement attorney for the Manatee County clerk of court from 1995 to 1996 and as a staff attorney with the 20th Judicial Circuit from 1996 to 1997. She succeeds Michael E. Siegel and is appointed for a term beginning Sept. 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.
Polk was named from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar.
Robinson, 36, of Bradenton, is a principal and vice president of Blalock Walters PA., where he has practiced since 2003. He succeeds Adam Mohammadbhoy and is appointed for a term beginning Sept. 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.
