Rick Scott Names Jeffrey Oody to Santa Fe Board of Trustees

Gov. Rick Scott appointed Jeffrey L. Oody, the president of Community State Bank, to the Santa Fe College District board of trustees.

Oody, 43, of Starke, is an alumnus of the community college, earning his bachelors later from the University of North Florida and a master's in business administration from Liberty University.

He succeeds Richard C. Solze. The appointment, which requires Florida Senate confirmation, runs through May 31, 2014.
