Rick Scott Names Donald H. Mason to 20th Judicial Circuit Court
Gov. Rick Scott announced today the appointment of Donald H. Mason, of Punta Gorda, to the 20th Judicial Circuit Court.
Dons long career in law enforcement, as both a police officer and prosecutor, combined with his years of private practice, make him uniquely prepared to serve on the bench, Scott stated in a release. Throughout Dons career, he has demonstrated his intelligence, fairness and dedication, and I have every confidence that he will bring these qualities to his new position.

He is currently the head of the Charlotte County state attorneys office for the 20th Circuit.Mason served as a prosecutor with the 16th Circuit state attorney from 2003-2004, and with the 20th Circuit from 2004 to present.
He fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James H. Seals.
