Rick Scott Makes Bet on FSU BCS Victory

All eyes will be on the Florida Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers as they face off in the BCS Championship game on Jan. 6, and Gov. Rick Scott is making a bet with Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley that the Noles will get the win Monday night.

If FSU wins, Bentley will have to send Scott a gallon of lemonade from Toomers Drugs in Auburn, Ala. But if Auburn wins, Scott will owe Bentley a pie from Kermits Key West Key Lime Shoppe.

"Toomer's Drugs has been an Auburn tradition since 1896. No visit would be complete without a glass of their fresh squeezed lemonade," wrote Bentley on his Facebook page.

"Good luck to our Auburn Tigers in the BCS National Championship. Bring home a fifth crystal trophy to Alabama!"

Scott has placed bets on big Florida sporting events with other governors in the past. He made wagers with the governors of Oklahoma and Texas when the Miami Heat made the NBA Finals, and in the fall of 2012 he won a batch of barbecue from South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley after FSU beat Clemson.
