Rick Scott Lowers Fee for Lifetime Sportsman’s Licenses for Younger Floridians

On Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott issued an order lowering costs for Lifetime Sportsmans Licenses for Floridians 21 and younger. From Nov. 24-Dec. 31, the cost of the license for those Floridians will be lowered from $1,000 to $500.

Our states natural treasures give families wonderful opportunities for both fishing and hunting from the Panhandle to the Keys, Scott said. This Lifetime Sportsmans License will provide Floridas youth with the opportunity to spend time outdoors with their families. Fishing and hunting are time-honored traditions in our state, and I encourage all Floridians to spend some time enjoying the great outdoors.
