Rick Scott to Lead Trade Mission to the Dominican Republic

Enterprise Florida (EFI) announced on Monday that Gov. Rick Scott will lead a trade mission to the Dominican Republic in late February. The Dominican Republic is Floridas ninth-leading trade partner with more than $5.5 billion in exports.

This trade mission will feature one-on-one business matchmaking programs for Florida exporters and networking events with Dominican trade organizations, said Secretary of Commerce Gray Swoope, the president and CEO of EFI. The mission will be an excellent opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses in Florida to expand their reach into the Caribbean region.

The trade mission, which will take place between Feb. 23-26, marks Scotts 10th trade mission.
