Rick Scott Launches Siemens Energy Center in Orlando

On Thursday, Gov. Rick Scott helped launch the Siemens Energy Wind Service Training Center. This $7 million center will host 2,400 trainees every year and has created 49 new jobs in Florida. Back in February, Scott announced the center would be opening in Orlando.

Weve worked to make Florida the best place in the world to grow a business and find a job, and Siemens new training center proves were succeeding in our efforts to grow opportunities for Florida families, Scott said. With a commitment of 50 new jobs, 50 Florida families will have more opportunities to pursue their version of the American dream, which is great news for the Orlando community.
