Rick Scott: Floridians Will Swing to Best Jobs Plan
Its still all going to be about jobs for Floridians, Gov. Rick Scott said Thursday when asked about how the 2012 presidential contest will shape up in the fight for votes from the Sunshine State.
After discussing his continued opposition to the Affordable Care Act while on CBS This Morning on Thursday, Scott was asked about the presidential contest.
Scott replied that he believes the key for President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney will be what they offer to create jobs, just as it was in Floridas gubernatorial contest.
Its the biggest issue for our country, its still the biggest issue for our state; we need more jobs -- which approach is going to be the best approach to more jobs, Scott said.
I think President Obama is going to suffer because jobs havent come back and Governor Romney has got to show a plan where Floridians say Hey, gosh I believe in that and that is how were going to get back to work.
