Rick Scott Campaign: 'Florida's Voters Simply Don't Like Bill McCollum'
The campaign team for Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott lashed into their chief rival for the GOP nomination, Attorney General Bill McCollum, in very harsh terms. Joe Kildea, a spokesman for the Scott campaign, blasted McCollum for his campaigns newest ad.
Over $6 million in negative attacks against Rick Scott, and Bill McCollum is just coming to the realization that Floridas voters simply dont like Bill McCollum a career politician and political insider who embraced the stimulus as attorney general and personally invested in five companies that received stimulus money, said Kildea. Only this could explain the latest desperate ad from team McCollum, an attack so absurd its laughable. Bill McCollum is actually trying to turn Rick Scott into Bill McCollum a special-interest insider. Staying true to what he is, a career politician, Bill McCollum throws in a healthy dose of hypocrisy by attacking Scott for the very things he is guilty of.
