Rick Santorum Plays Up Electability in P5 Speech

Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania spoke at the Presidency 5 event in Orlando on Saturday. Santorum played up the importance of the 2012 elections and once again pointed to his success in winning statewide elections in the Keystone State.

Santorums team of volunteers has been all over the P5 event in Orlando and there are plenty of attendees wearing his stickers. But few observers see him as one of the top candidates in the straw poll which will be held later today. Still, Santorum has surprised before -- many political observers were caught off-guard by his fourth place showing in the Iowa Republican straw poll. Santorum has worked hard, even meeting with attendees in the final minutes before the afternoon event kicked off.
